Maile O'Keefe

Maile O'keefe is an 11 years old international elite gymnast, from Las Vegas.

This incredible young girl trains 5 hours a day at "Academy of Gymnastics-Salcianu" (her coach are Sorin & Tammy Salcianu) and she is a home-schooled.

I follow her since 2011 and I saw an impressive improvement during 2013,when she made her debut in the elite scene.
She has taken part at the Secret U.S Classic, as the youngest competitors,and did an excellent job.
Her best apparatus is beam, I really love her routines, she is so clean and confident in the workout, especially in the acrobatcis series and the dismount.Now is working on a new series onodi+front ariel+sheep jump.
On floor she is working so hard to upgrades the routine,and I saw her performing a triple twist on the mat. Vault it's not her strongest event but she usually performs a clean and high straight yurchenko.

Her goal for the future is to take part at the 2020 Olympics,I hope I will see you there, the best of luck !

Welcome everyone !

I'm a 18 years old girl,  student on her last year in the high-school and of course a gymnast and a gym-fan.

I started to follow the international gymnastics world in the autumn of 2009, and I immediately fell in love with this magic world.In my country gymnastics it's considered a minor sport, furthermore  I didn't knew a single word in english, consequently at the beginning has been a little bit hard.

In the october of the same year I opened a youtube channel called "Marta Super 96", I became a videomaker .You tube gave me the chances to see everything about gymnastics from the old Olympic competition to the daily workout of the most famous elite athletes of the moment. For me everything was simple amazing.

In this blog I'm gonna write articles about elite gymnast,with more focus on the new juniors.
